The band members of the ICHIRO ONOE Quartet in detail:

Ichiro Onoe (drums & percussion), at a young age, played Ichiro Onoe with jazz greats such as Bobby Few, Ricky Ford, Frank Lacy, Andy Narrel and Ron Carter, who appeared in Japan's jazz clubs and festivals. He has been accompanying drumming with singers such as Yasuko Agawa, Mina Agassi, Jane Birkin or Joe Lee Wilson. Ichiro Onoe has been living in France for 20 years. Here he formed his own quartet with three very talented young musicians who have deeply internalized his musical aesthetics. Onoe's compositions have been created over many years and find their best expression in this formation.

Geoffrey Secco (tenorsax), after studying music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, moved to Paris where he soon found a connection as a saxophonist in various bands and genres, touring with Charles Aznavour and Tony Allen (2012) Yannick Noa (2010), with Patricia Haas (2009-2010), or with Manu Dibango and Tito Fuentes (from 2007-2012). Today, at the age of 32, he combines jazz, soul, rock, hip-hop and various forms of electronic music into a whole universe of hybrid improvisation.

Ludovic Allainmat (piano), born 1980 in Clamart, France, received classical piano lessons at the age of 5 years at the "Conservatoire d'Issy-les-Moulineaux". At 15, he turned his interest in jazz and found an accomplished teacher in the jazz pianist Ludovic De Preissac. Later, at the age of 17, he attended master classes with Michel Petrucciani, who certified him to have worked out a very fine game, especially with his left hand. Ludovic quickly played at jazz festivals worldwide as a member of the band Glenn Ferris, Frank Lacy or in the group of Raul De Souza.

Matyas Szandai (double bass) is a Hungarian musician who studied in Budapest's "Franz Liszt Academy of Music" and who has worked with countless jazz legends. So he stood with Archie Shepp, David Murray, Herbie Man, Chico Freeman, Charlie Mariano, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Flavio Boltro and Chris Potter on various stages. He is a member of some American jazz bands, he is also a popular sideman in India and Europe.
